Blue Zones American Kitchen

For the sequel to our #1 NYT Bestseller Blue Zones Kitchen, writer Dan Buettner and I traveled across America to capture the lost diet of longevity for National Geographic. The result is equal parts science reporting, stunning photography, and 100 Recipes to live to 100.

Dan and David

I’ve been traveling America for the past two years with writer Dan Buettner photographing our latest book for National Geographic, Blue Zones American Kitchen. In addition to a wonderful mix of photography and science writing the book is practical: it features 100 recipes that will help you live to 100.

I learned so much about history and food and becoming healthier from the incredible Americans featured in the book and am honored to be able to share their wisdom and deep knowledge of cooking with all of you.
